Position Overview:
As a Pediatric Cardiac Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the Heart Center, collaborating with pediatric critical care medicine professionals to provide exceptional care for patients with complex cardiac conditions. Your expertise will be vital in delivering high-quality echocardiogram tests, ensuring that our young patients receive the best possible treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct echocardiogram examinations on pediatric patients, ensuring accurate imaging and technical quality.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them appropriately.
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques and maintain high standards of patient care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiologists and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and assist with departmental accreditation processes.
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any patient concerns effectively.

Qualifications:
- Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support is required.
- Must hold one of the following certifications: Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS), or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
- A graduate of an accredited program in Cardiac Sonography Technology or related field is preferred.

Experience and Skills:
- Previous experience in pediatric echocardiography is highly desirable.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous education.
