Role Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be integral to a team of PET technologists and healthcare professionals, focusing on advanced cardiac imaging in both clinical and research settings. Key responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing technical operations within the PET laboratory, ensuring quality control and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Performing a comprehensive range of PET scan procedures, generating reliable patient image data using advanced technology.
  • Implementing new imaging techniques to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Providing training and support to clinical and technical staff, serving as a resource for fellow technologists.
  • Developing specifications for diagnostic equipment and contributing to the enhancement of clinical procedures and protocols.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N)
  • Preferred certification in Positron Emission Tomography (PET)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • An Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a nuclear cardiology laboratory

Physical Requirements:
Candidates should be capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently to move objects.
