Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive benefits customer service to UF Health employees, answering questions and educating them on leave of absence policies and procedures, including Family and Medical Leave (FMLA).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee benefits data, performing activities in support of HR processes.
  • Offer information and guidance on benefit plan products and services to all customers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of their benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop and implement benefits-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with UF Health's goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employees, providing exceptional service and support to meet their benefits needs.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 3 years of direct customer service experience, preferably in Human Resources, benefits, or insurance industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software applications.

Working Conditions:

This is a non-driving position, and employees will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
