Job Summary:

As a Systems Administrator at the McNabb Center, you will be responsible for maintaining and configuring computer systems, servers, and virtualization. This includes installing and upgrading computer components and software, managing virtual servers, and integrating automation processes. You will also troubleshoot hardware and software errors, provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff, and perform regular backup operations and implement data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and configure computer systems, servers, and virtualization
Install and upgrade computer components and software
Manage virtual servers and integrate automation processes
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors
Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff
Perform regular backup operations and implement data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

Requirements:

Associate's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
Advanced knowledge of information technology operations
Minimum of three years' experience with Windows operating systems administration
Experience with VMWare infrastructure and maintaining Virtual Machines

Physical Demands:

Normal IT operations environment
Normal/corrected eyesight
Hearing within normal range
Uses computer, calculator, copier, and general office equipment
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
