About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Executive Vice President, Luxury Retail North America to join our team at Gianni Versace S.r.l. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our North America retail operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Retail Strategy: Develop and execute the overall retail strategy for North America, aligning it with the company's objectives and brand vision.
  • Oversee Retail Performance: Oversee the performance and profitability of the boutique and outlet channels, ensuring consistent and exceptional customer service standards are met.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations, to ensure effective coordination and implementation of retail initiatives.
  • Partner with Marketing: Partner with the Head of Marketing to develop and implement CRM and clienteling strategies, driving customer engagement and retention across the North America Region.
  • Manage Retail Operations: Manage the Retail Operations team, providing guidance and support in areas such as inventory management and store operations.
  • Develop Training Programs: Partner with the Global Retail Excellence team to develop and implement training programs and guidelines to enhance the performance and capabilities of retail staff.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and make data-driven decisions to improve retail performance.
  • Monitor KPIs: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to track the success of retail initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans accordingly.
  • Foster Stakeholder Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retail partners, vendors, and internal teams, to drive collaboration and achieve business objectives.
  • Stay Up-to-Date: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in luxury retail, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 10 years of experience in a senior retail leadership role within the fashion luxury industry, with a strong focus on boutiques.
  • Skills: Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving financial targets in a multi-channel retail environment. Extensive knowledge of luxury retail market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor landscape.
