About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Great Lakes. As a key member of our patient access team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient scheduling and registration processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with patients, participants, and staff to schedule patients for prescribed procedures.
  • Perform clerical and reception duties associated with patient registration, including gathering demographic, insurance, and clinical information.
  • Seek resources to resolve issues related to procedure scheduling, insurance pre-certification, and authorization.
  • Coordinate and communicate schedules to ensure efficient use of patient time and clinical resources.
  • Provide counseling to patients and their representatives regarding pre-service requirements and instructions.
