Job Summary:

The Manager of Succession Programs oversees the design, implementation, and execution of CHRISTUS Health's career development programs, focusing on succession planning for all levels of the organization. This role collaborates with Talent Acquisition and CHRISTUS Health's leaders to identify succession priorities and enhance the succession program and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement succession programs aligned with researched best practices
  • Supervise and manage the succession team and related processes
  • Design career development experiences aligned with strategic initiatives and meeting program criteria
  • Oversee the progression of program participants through their professional development journey for readiness of internal promotion
  • Coordinate programming for succession and individual success, including the 4-box implementation model and succession calibration
  • Compile and prepare reports on metrics and data-driven results for reporting, program design, delivery, and evaluation
  • Partner with the career development team and other departments to ensure successful program completion
  • Maintain consistent communication with program stakeholders and sponsors to remain aware of industry changes or other factors impacting program curricula and design

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area required; Master's degree preferred
  • Project management, program evaluation, curriculum development, adult learning, employee relations, and creativity
  • 2+ years of experience designing, implementing, facilitating, or managing adult learning programs
  • Career development and/or curating professional development experience is a must
