The Vice President of Operations is responsible for strategizing, overseeing, and directing the daily operational functions of the organization, ensuring effective management and seamless operation across all departments.

This executive leader guarantees that all team members are equipped with the necessary resources to meet client expectations while achieving the financial goals of the organization.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field is required, with a master’s degree preferred.

A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is essential, including at least 5 years in a leadership role within a consulting or healthcare organization.

Strong financial acumen is necessary to deliver the insights required for informed decision-making.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and reimbursement protocols is crucial.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and other third-party payer guidelines is beneficial.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Demonstrated expertise in managing all facets of operational functions, including human resources, team development, staff retention, and financial oversight.

Ability to inspire and lead teams to achieve organizational objectives while fostering a culture of motivation and accountability; adept at planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising.

Proficient in data analysis, capable of accurately interpreting information and taking decisive action.
Skilled in change management, effectively guiding organizations and personnel through transitions.
Ability to cultivate and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients, and external stakeholders.
Expertise in developing, implementing, and interpreting organizational policies and quality control standards.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in financial reporting and analysis.
Self-motivated with strong judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
Competent in research and report preparation as needed.
Technologically adept; familiar with software applications such as Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, EMR, and operational management systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Establishes and implements strategic goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for all operational areas of the organization.
Develops and executes long-term strategic plans.
Manages daily operations while effectively monitoring and analyzing budgetary and financial data.
Oversees human resources functions, ensuring effective administration of compensation, benefits, job descriptions, and payroll processes.
Participates in the recruitment, training, and onboarding of all staff members.
Engages in staff supervision, performance evaluations, merit increases, and disciplinary actions.
Addresses administrative and operational challenges, including maintenance of facilities and technology systems.
Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Collects and analyzes data for fiscal and statistical reporting.
Collaborates with medical staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and patient care.

Acts as a liaison between the organization and external partners, including marketing consultants and financial advisors.

Maintains strict confidentiality in all matters.
