Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Warehouse Night Crew at Martignetti Companies, Connecticut. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include:

  • Reporting directly to the Warehouse Night Manager.
  • Efficiently selecting and placing cases from pallet positions to a moving conveyor line.
  • Marking customer orders with specific cases using designated stop numbers.
  • Identifying product and inventory locations within the pallet room.
  • Collaborating with team members to direct and verbalize the order of the next pick, including case selection and placement.
  • Supplying the conveyor system in the correct truck stop-order sequence.
  • Selecting and placing individual bottles into empty boxes as per customer orders.
  • Gaining knowledge of product lines, single-bottle inventory, and their respective locations.
  • Verifying product contents against customer invoices to ensure accuracy.
  • Detecting errors and discrepancies in inventory.
  • Clearly announcing the contents of all cases and split line boxes at the checking station.
  • Making necessary adjustments to facilitate unloading and prevent load shift or instability.
  • Ensuring the correct loading of trucks and confirming the total cases required per truck.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position include:

Regularly lifting weights of up to 35-50 lbs throughout the work shift. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination skills.
  • Experience operating a forklift and lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
  • Capability to frequently lift, squat, bend, walk, and sit.
  • Availability to work a typical 10-hour night shift, with flexibility for occasional overtime.
  • A collaborative team player.
