POSITION: ACCOUNTING MANAGER

SALARY: $145K-$165K PLUS BONUS

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to take charge of:

  1. Comprehensive accounting for our portfolio, including the preparation of financial statements, management of the general ledger, cash flow forecasting, and analysis of job cost reports.
  2. Supervision of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, along with budgeting and expense oversight. Responsible for establishing the corporate budget and conducting P&L variance analysis.
  3. Evaluation of asset-level financial statements and providing support to asset management.
  4. Collaboration with third-party property management and asset management teams.
  5. Management of disposed assets, ensuring proper accounting closure and completion of final tax documentation.
  6. Analysis of contribution and distribution calculations.
  7. Coordination with project management and asset management to ensure timely submission of draws.
  8. Review of CAM, Tax, and Insurance reconciliations.
  9. Knowledge of tax implications related to 1031 exchanges, TIC, K-1s, real estate partnerships, and waterfalls.
  10. Preparation and review of monthly and quarterly financial updates.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. CPA designation is preferred.
