Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to oversee financial operations at a premier car dealership. This role is pivotal in managing accounting, financial reporting, and budget forecasting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
  • Analyze financial data, managing cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain the chart of accounts and cost of goods sold (COGS) processes.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on financial strategy, providing expert guidance and support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management or controlling, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or ERP systems.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
