About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Patient Advocate to join our clinical operations team. This role presents a unique opportunity to influence the patient experience, collaborating with our dental specialists and product and technology teams.

The Patient Advocate will be responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience, from check-in to check-out and beyond. This includes greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance eligibility, collecting payments, and communicating with patients via phone, email, or our messaging platform.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong computer literacy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in a dental practice and knowledge of common dental procedures are also essential.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and welcome them to Ritual Dental
  • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect payments
  • Communicate with patients via phone, email, or our messaging platform
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized front desk and patient waiting area
  • Provide detailed descriptions of dental treatments and services
  • Present treatment plans to patients and discuss financial responsibility
  • Answer patient questions and empower them with knowledge
Qualifications and Skills
  • 2+ years of experience working in a dental practice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with patient booking software
  • Knowledge of common dental procedures
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and some Saturdays
