Senior Community Relations Manager

About the Role:

The Senior Community Relations Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with community groups, ticket sales, and sponsorship sales. This role will also oversee gameday planning and entertainment to optimize the fan experience, as well as managing interns and supervising social media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with community groups
  • Manage ticket sales and prospecting
  • Oversee sponsorship sales
  • Plan and execute themes for each game
  • Plan and run events throughout the year, including tryouts, practices, Training Camp Weekend, overnight tournaments, leagues, youth camps, and clinics
  • Develop and manage the Internship Program
  • Maintain and update staff training methods and plan
  • Interface with media and the public

Requirements:

  • Availability to work all Union events
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Previous experience in project and event management
  • Previous experience in sales and/or service preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide vision and direction
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and time manage
  • Strong written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Strong organizational skills, sense of urgency, and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management, business partners, board members, guests, and fans

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc)
  • Enthusiastic team player, shows enjoyment and interest in working collaboratively
