Position Overview

The Facility Operations Leader will oversee the daily management of the Andretti Indoor Karting & Games venue, ensuring a high standard of service and operational excellence. This role encompasses leadership responsibilities for team members, including staffing, scheduling, training, cost management, and adherence to service protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide team members with integrity and purpose.
  • Empower staff to provide outstanding service.

  • Manage daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, maintenance, cleanliness, and service quality.
  • Develop and mentor staff to enhance their skills.
  • Provide constructive feedback on performance.
  • Oversee staff training and maintain positive employee relations.
  • Ensure high staff morale and engagement.
  • Participate in recruitment and retention efforts.
  • Maximize daily sales while managing costs and cash flow.
  • Maintain departmental labor costs within budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness in all operational areas.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Department for effective event planning.
  • Manage inventory and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Positive and sociable demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.

Preferred:

  • Two years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant or entertainment center.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff.

  • Knowledge of cost control measures.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role include:
