Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team at The Burks Companies. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily housekeeping function, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance are maintained throughout our luxury hotel/casino.

Key Responsibilities
  • Housekeeping Supervision: Supervise and support the daily housekeeping function, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are clean, orderly, and pristine.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee and manage a team of housekeeping staff, assigning duties, inspecting work, and investigating complaints.
  • Inventory Management: Perform regular inventories to ensure proper par levels are consistently maintained.
  • Training and Development: Screen applicants, train new employees, and recommend/perform dismissals.
  • Quality Control: Inspect rooms and common areas, including grounds and exterior common areas, for cleanliness and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: One to two years of post-high school education is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous work experience as an Assistant or Executive Housekeeping Manager or similar role.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of computers, good command of the English language, and ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate with guests.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, and team building skills with all associates, peers, and across departments.
