Job Summary

Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our medical imaging equipment at customer sites throughout Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, install, test, calibrate, service, modify, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Imaging Equipment CAT SCAN and MRI products, DICOM, Networking, Remote Diagnostics.
  • Provide technical support for both customers and engineers at sites in Boston metro, Massachusetts, Connecticut.
  • Train and help other CSEs in learning imaging products, especially old equipment in the field for which trainings are not available at Siemens training centers.
  • Utilize complex calibration tools and service test equipment to perform routine service, modifications, and preventative maintenance.
  • Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers.
  • Lead complex equipment installations, trial runs, investigative tests, repairs, and refurbishments.
  • Guide complex maintenance on tools and test equipment, and complete documents of all installations, inspections, maintenance, and repair work, and failures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation.
  • Experience with testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment, including Imaging equipment CT and MRI.
  • Experience with performing Cryogenic services on MRI Super conductor Magnets.
  • Experience with DICOM Networking, remote diagnostics, and providing technical support for both customers and engineers.
  • Experience with utilizing complex calibration tools and service equipment.

Working Hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 2nd or 3rd Shift.
