Job Summary:
KCO Resource Management is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our equipment, buildings, and utilities, as well as developing and implementing maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Supervise and develop the training program and certification needs for the site maintenance team, and provide technical services as needed.
- Maintenance Planning: Act as a coach/mentor for the Maintenance Planners and Leads for the factory to ensure deep dives into break down elimination and support preventive maintenance planning.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of PM compliance goals and support Maintenance Leads to prioritize work for execution.
- Food Safety and Quality: Support SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality through completing job tasks and maintaining the work area in a sanitary manner.
- Capital Projects: Provide cross-functional support with the Engineering Department for capital projects executed at the site, including cost justification, design feedback, project implementation, and support at startups.
- Environmental Compliance: Understand, enforce, and comply with the site's Environmental Policy and support initiatives to reduce our environmental footprint.
- Inventory Management:
- Continuous Improvement: Pursue new technologies to improve operations on the processing lines, packaging lines, and utility equipment, and ensure the department is properly trained on how to execute work safely and drive improvements to eliminate any safety risks across the factory.
Requirements:
- Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3-5 years of maintenance experience within a plant or manufacturing environment in the food and beverage industry, with experience in PLCs and Ammonia Refrigeration.
- Leadership: 3+ years of supervisory experience and intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and AutoCAD.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work with clients, vendors, and other team members at all levels, with strong interpersonal and team skills.
- Management: Management personnel share responsibility for the legality, employee safety, product safety, environmental, and quality systems at all times.
