Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
- Foster and maintain effective communication with patients.
- Handle incoming calls and route them to the appropriate personnel.
- Coordinate patient appointment scheduling.
- Register patients upon their arrival.
- Confirm patient details, including insurance information and benefits.
- Process payments and manage financial transactions.
- Generate reports and manage deposits.
- Communicate effectively with referring medical offices.
- Keep accurate records in patient accounts.
- Prepare cost estimates based on proposed treatment plans.
- Complete and submit requests for prior authorizations.
Qualifications
- Experience in a dental office environment (oral surgery experience preferred).
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
- Comfortable using computers for various tasks.
- Consistent professional demeanor and appearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
