About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Affordable Property Manager to join our team at Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG). As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our 42-unit low-income housing apartment community in Downtown Portland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the property, including marketing, income certification, and maintaining property integrity.
  • Screen prospective residents, collect rents, serve notices, and prepare agreements.
  • Develop and maintain reports, and perform bookkeeping tasks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to resident inquiries and concerns.
  • Work closely with the property management team to ensure seamless operations and high resident satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Two (2) years of previous customer service experience.
  • One (1) year of previous property management experience.
  • Previous experience with Yardi Property Management Software is preferred.
  • Basic experience with MS365, including TEAMS, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
  • Ability to perform bookkeeping tasks and prepare reports.
  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • The ability to learn quickly and pay attention to detail.
  • Available for after-hours emergencies.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
