Responsibilities- Provide professional nursing care to patients in their homes, focusing on comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
- Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and implement interventions to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support.
- Document patient progress, communicate with families, and provide education on disease management and end-of-life care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Diploma in Nursing, Associate's Degree in Nursing, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Compact license may apply, but licensee should confirm with NCBON.
- BCLS certification.
- National certification in area of specialty.
