Internship Overview:

The Western & Southern Financial Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team in a hands-on financial management internship. This internship will provide the opportunity to gain valuable experience in financial analysis, accounting, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Key Tasks:
Analyze asset, liability, and equity accounts for assigned properties.
Produce accurate monthly balance sheets and income statements.
Review revenue and expense accounts, investigating material variances and examining underlying vendor invoices.
Provide timely and accurate responses to accounting and financial questions.

Qualifications:
Third or fourth-year accounting student.
Working knowledge of accounting and generally accepted accounting principles.
Ability to learn quickly accounting software applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills, including problem-solving and effective resolution.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel software.

Work Setting/Position Demands:
This position works in an office setting, requiring continuous stationary position for long periods of time.
Extended hours during peak workloads or special projects.

Travel Requirements:
None.
