Job Summary:

The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the hotel's facilities are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort, count, fold, and distribute linens and other cleaning supplies
  • Make beds and replenish linens as needed to maintain a high level of cleanliness
  • Restock supplies such as drinking glasses and writing materials to ensure a smooth guest experience
  • Move and arrange furniture as required to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Turn mattresses as needed to ensure a comfortable sleeping surface
  • Clean public areas, including lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways to maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial for maintaining a clean and organized hotel environment
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to stand and walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl to perform cleaning tasks
  • Occasionally required to talk or hear to communicate with colleagues and guests
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds to perform cleaning tasks
