Job Title: Transport Security Officer

The Transport Security Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and secure delivery of medicated products to our clients across Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to assigned delivery schedules and follow all job directives precisely to ensure timely and secure delivery of products.
  • Verify that all required shipping documents are available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies each shipment.
  • Apply knowledge of safe driving skills to navigate vehicles in challenging situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather, and tight loading dock areas.
  • Follow best practices for safety while on the road and during loading/unloading of trucks.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, drivers, and team members to coordinate deliveries.
  • Meet delivery deadlines and perform basic truck maintenance to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
  • Track shipments and deliveries, and obtain client signatures as needed.
  • Notify the VP of Global Security/SOC in the event of a mechanical malfunction of the security or surveillance system that is anticipated to exceed a 4-hour period.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years' delivery experience.
  • Ability to travel to clients throughout the State of Pennsylvania.
  • Familiarity with using navigation systems.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure deliveries are made on schedule.
  • Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving.
Physical Requirements:
  • Driving up to 12 hours per day.
  • Frequent sitting.
  • Physical ability to load and unload cargo up to 40 pounds.
  • Occasional twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and crawling.
