Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transport Security Officer to join our team at Jushi USA. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of medicated products to our clients throughout the State of Pennsylvania.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Logistics: Adhere to assigned delivery schedules and follow all job directives precisely to ensure timely and safe delivery of medicated products.
  • Shipping and Documentation: Ensure that all required shipping documents (manifest, invoice, etc.) are available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies shipment with delivery.
  • Safe Driving Practices: Apply knowledge of safe driving skills in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather, and tight loading dock areas.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate with dispatchers, drivers, and other team members to make deliveries and ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Delivery Deadlines: Meet delivery deadlines and ensure that all deliveries are made on schedule.
  • Truck Maintenance: Perform basic truck maintenance to ensure that vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Track shipments and deliveries, and report any issues or concerns to management.
  • Client Communication: Obtain client or customer signatures when required and provide excellent customer service.
  • Incident Reporting: Immediately notify the VP of Global Security/SOC in the event of a mechanical malfunction of the security or surveillance system that is anticipated to exceed a 4-hour period.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) required, with a minimum of 2 years' delivery experience.
  • Driver's License and Record: Valid Driver's License (required) with a good driving record.
  • Travel and Navigation: Travel to clients throughout the State of Pennsylvania and have familiarity with using navigation systems.
  • Time Management and Safety: Excellent time management skills to ensure deliveries are made on schedule, and excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving.
Physical Requirements
  • Driving and Physical Demands: Driving up to 12 hours per day, frequently sitting, and physical ability to load and unload cargo up to 40 pounds.
  • Occasional Physical Demands: Occasionally twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, or crawl.
