Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Communicate with clients throughout the Social Security disability claims process, providing them with updates and guidance on their case.
  • Case Preparation: Assist our lawyers with all preliminary work, including the acquisition of medical records and their submission to Social Security in preparation for hearings.
  • Case Management: Manage day-to-day client caseloads and attorney calendars, ensuring that all deadlines are met and cases are progressed efficiently.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our lawyers, including handling correspondence, managing files, and performing other tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or recent paralegal graduate.
  • Skills: Proficient use of legal computer applications, ability to prioritize and multitask, excellent written and verbal communication skills, deadline and detail-oriented, willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
