Overview:

This role involves leveraging expertise in PLC programming and electrical control systems to fulfill key responsibilities that support the New Equipment Build process. The aim is to ensure the production of high-quality components while maintaining cost efficiency. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary, with all tasks performed in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply specialized skills to achieve Divisional and Departmental business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with established quality management systems (e.g., TS and ISO standards).
  • Design and implement control systems for manufacturing equipment.
  • Engage in process-related tasks for production preparation projects, including travel for pre-production activities.
  • Address customer concerns as directed by management.
  • Provide technical assistance to manufacturing teams for control-related troubleshooting.
  • Achieve cost-saving targets within the area of expertise.
  • Facilitate effective communication and project scheduling across divisions.

Qualifications:

The following qualifications are necessary for this position:

  • An Associate's degree in an electrical discipline or three to four years of relevant experience or training, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming is essential, including the ability to write, troubleshoot, and interpret ladder logic.
  • Capability to design and implement control systems for new machinery.
  • Familiarity with Information Systems Tools to support business objectives.
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing is preferred.

Compensation: Salary ranges from $70,000 to $95,000 based on experience.

Relocation Assistance: Reimbursement for relocation expenses is available.
