Interstate Batteries is seeking a skilled Learning and Development Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating development programs that support the performance and growth of our team members and leaders.

About the Role:

The Learning and Development Strategist will oversee the development of e-learning experiences, workshops, and programs across various topics, including operational/technical learning, individual development, and coaching. This role requires strong leadership skills, as you will direct a team of designers and facilitators and collaborate with senior leaders to deliver blended experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and Implements Learning Strategies: Create and execute plans to enhance the skills and knowledge of our team members and leaders.
  • e-Learning Course Design: Develop engaging and effective e-learning courses that meet the needs of our diverse audience.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the budget for learning initiatives and maintain relationships with vendors and consultants.
  • Training Evaluation and Reporting: Assess the effectiveness of training programs and report results through key metrics.
  • L&D Team Leadership: Lead the Learning and Development Team, including hiring, development, and performance management.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of experience in leadership roles, with a focus on learning design, facilitation, and development.
  • Certifications: Certified in leadership development models and instruments, such as StrengthsFinder or MBTI.
  • Coaching and Facilitation Skills: Proven ability to coach individuals and facilitate group sessions.
  • Innovative Thinking: Think strategically and be innovative in developing learning solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
