Job Summary
The Dietary Support Specialist will assist with preparing and serving food, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and designated equipment. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and serving, including meal planning and execution
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and designated equipment, including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless food service operations
- Communicate effectively with staff and clients to ensure excellent customer service
- Assist with food deliveries, including receiving and storing food and paper supplies
- Provide hospitality services for meetings, parties, and special events as directed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; specialized training in food preparation preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation and related standards and procedures
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, climb, and lift items weighing 50 lbs. or less
- Valid driver's license required
Experience
A minimum of one (1) year of related experience is normally required for this role.
