Position Overview: The role of the Electrician Level 1 is critical in ensuring that all electrical systems and machinery operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and enhance all packaging and processing machinery and systems, including auxiliary equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
- Prioritize the prevention of equipment breakdowns through proactive troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems.
- Utilize a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to prepare and manage work orders.
- Conduct Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all site equipment and support Predictive Maintenance (PdM) initiatives where applicable.
- Interpret and apply technical documents, manuals, and blueprints effectively.
- Report daily activities and work summaries to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager and receive assignments from the maintenance planner as needed.

Team Collaboration:
- Actively participate as a member of the maintenance team, contributing to the development and implementation of team concepts and policies.
- Engage in team meetings and discussions to foster a cohesive work environment and address any issues collaboratively.

Operational Awareness:
- Familiarize yourself with the company's established operating systems, including quality and safety protocols, and understand your role in supporting these systems.

Additional Duties:
- Perform other relevant tasks as necessary to support business objectives, demonstrating flexibility and creativity in your approach.

Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk; must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in various environments, including cramped and elevated spaces, and endure extreme temperatures and high noise levels.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Required PPE includes steel-toed shoes, ear protection, and hard hats as necessary.

Industry Experience: Preference for candidates with experience in food manufacturing.

Education:
- Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Some college education or technical school graduates.

Competencies:
- Strong teamwork skills and a calm, focused response to daily production priorities.
- Effective communication and decision-making abilities are essential.
