Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Infrastructure Manager to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing highway construction activities, planning, designing, costing, and coordinating transportation construction or maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, manage highway construction activities in an assigned geographical area or on multiple moderate to highly complex projects.
  • Plan, design, cost, and coordinate transportation construction or maintenance activities.
  • Review technical documents and plans prepared by consultants.
  • Monitor contracts for compliance and control costs; perform inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and industry standards.
  • Obtain, quantify, and report the condition of fleet usage and needs according to practice, standards, and methods.
  • Provide technical assistance, support, and training to establish working relationships with clients, customers, and other representatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., construction management, civil engineering) and six months of related experience.
  • Associate's degree in a related field and one year of experience.
  • One year of experience at a position equivalent to this role.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with others in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to reason and make sound, well-informed decisions.
  • Ability to research, gather, and organize information into a presentable understandable format.
  • Displays high standards of ethical conduct and understands the impact of violating these standards on an organization, self, and others.
  • Working-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Committed to providing quality customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in a transportation or civil engineering-related environment.

Estimated Salary Range

$62,000 - $90,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
