Job Description
The successful candidate will have 8+ years of experience in IT, with a strong background in network infrastructure design and implementation. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Designing and implementing Ethernet, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, and VOIP solutions.
  • Implementing IPS/IDS and NAC technologies and their integration with existing systems.
  • Working with Cisco wired technologies, including switches and routers, to optimize network performance.
  • Configuring Cisco wireless technologies, including WLC, AP, and CAPWAP, to ensure seamless connectivity.
  • Implementing Cisco ACI and Nexus for Data Center solutions.
  • Managing Palo Alto Panorama and Firewalls, with advanced knowledge of SSL termination and bridging.
  • Maintaining Advanced knowledge of BGP and its implementation in the network.
  • Experience working with SolarWinds, including IPAM and NMS modules, to monitor and manage network performance.
  • F5 LTM load balancing, with knowledge of SSL termination and bridging.
  • Cross-training on cloud vendor networking, including AWS, Oracle, and Azure.
  • Maintaining knowledge of Business Resumption Planning and Disaster Recovery concepts.
  • Applying ITIL service management concepts for incident, problem, and change management.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, with a strong background in network infrastructure design and implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, including Ethernet, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.
  • Experience working with Cisco wired and wireless technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of BGP and its implementation in the network.
  • Experience with SolarWinds, including IPAM and NMS modules.
  • Knowledge of F5 LTM load balancing and SSL termination.
  • Cross-training on cloud vendor networking, including AWS, Oracle, and Azure.
  • Maintaining knowledge of Business Resumption Planning and Disaster Recovery concepts.
  • ITIL service management certification.
