At TEKsystems, we're seeking a seasoned Wired Infrastructure Technical Lead Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5-8 years of technical supervisory experience, providing supervision, direction, and control of technical/engineering personnel.

The Lead Wired Engineer is responsible for technical planning and execution of all wired infrastructure aspects of the Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) program. This role works closely with and oversees the performance of numerous vendors executing sustainment and modernization of wired network infrastructure at numerous awarded Task Order bases simultaneously worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years' expert knowledge and experience at the consulting level designing, configuring, and troubleshooting Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) networks to include hardware (switches, routers), software (operating system), network management systems, network access control (NAC), quality of service (QoS), network services (timing, logging, etc.), and distribution systems (fiber and copper cables and infrastructure).

Key responsibilities include serving as the main point of contact for all wired infrastructure technical issues of the BIM program, having technical knowledge that facilitates understanding of Government technical requirements and communication with the Government BIM PMO, and working closely with BIM PMO-specified personnel to facilitate effective planning and accomplishment of critical objectives in a timely manner.

Additionally, the successful candidate will manage all subcontractor interface requirements in conjunction with the Program manager, notify the Government BIM PMO and Clients Program Manager immediately of any problems or issues, and approve/signoff all engineering documents before submission to the Government, including Site Survey, PIR, CIR, and IPA documents.

A Security Clearance, DoD Secret level security clearance, is required for this role. The ideal candidate will also have BISCI Registered Communications Distribution Designer certification and BICSI certifications (Installer 2, Copper (INSTC); Installer 2, Optical Fiber (INSTF); BICSI Technician TECH).

This position comes with an estimated salary of $110,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
