The Director of IT Infrastructure and Applications plays a pivotal role in overseeing the team responsible for managing, strategizing, and executing the company's IT infrastructure, including network architecture, internet connectivity, user endpoints, cloud services, and applications such as ERP, MES, PLM, and HRMS.

This position works closely with the security organization to ensure secure and available services for end-users, driving the overall information technology strategy of the company.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
  • Implement and Operate Technology Infrastructure: Oversee the implementation and operations of technology infrastructure, including servers, data centers, cloud computing, end-user technologies, conference room technologies, and telephony.
  • Establish IT Infrastructure Strategy: Establish and maintain IT infrastructure strategy, including standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Align Strategies with Corporate Goals: Work closely with business technology partners and operational teams to ensure that strategies for infrastructure align with corporate business and IT department strategies.
  • Goal Setting and Tracking: Responsible for establishing and tracking goals, strategies, and tactics.
  • IT Documentation: Develop and maintain appropriate IT documentation, including policies.
  • Oversight of Procurement: Oversight of IT hardware, software, and services procurement.
  • Third-Party Vendor Management: Management of third-party vendors, including software licensing and managed service providers.
  • User Endpoint Management: Managing user endpoints.
  • Cloud Services Management: Managing cloud services.
  • Architecture and Roadmap Support: Supporting architecture and roadmaps.
  • IT Service Lifecycle Management: Selecting, deploying, and managing the lifecycle of IT services.
  • Collaboration with Security Team: Working closely and aligned with the security team to deliver IT Networking and VPN solutions.
Applications Leadership:
  • Global Applications Architecture: This person will be responsible for the company's global Applications architecture and business processes.
  • Strategic Direction: Partner with the business in setting strategic and tactical direction to the IT organization that provides business systems for global functions.
  • Application Development: Lead and inspire the application development team to engage with the business and identify new functionality, develop compelling business cases, prioritize projects, and develop plans that maximize return on investment for the company.
  • Business Applications: Run business applications for corporate function applications (ERP, CRM - Goto market applications, Sales, People, PS, Customer care, etc.).
  • Risk Management: Remove obstacles, close gaps, and manage and mitigate risks to ensure delivery on time, on budget, and with impeccable quality.
  • Investment Roadmap: Define multi-year investment roadmap in alignment with IT cost models that delivers tangible/bottom-line business value.
  • Team Management: Lead a team managing all aspects of applications implementation and delivery across multiple functions, business units, and business lines. Manage the Technical Directors and provide guidance as they lead their teams and set prioritization.

Salary Range: $120,000-$180,000 per year
