About The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Partner to join our team at The Kensington Reston. As a Care Partner, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility, toileting, and participation in life enrichment activities.
  • Participate in the new hire interviewing and training process, including group interviewing and providing feedback to the neighborhood director.
  • Assist with staff scheduling, assignment of breaks, and ensuring all care manager shifts are adequately covered.
  • Provide ongoing problem-solving, assistance, and support to the care management team throughout the daily shift.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation required of care managers is completed at the end of each shift.
  • Communicate all changes and unusual observations concerning residents' physical and psychosocial functioning.
  • Provide input to resident individualized service plans as appropriate.
Requirements
  • Must be able to clearly and proficiently communicate with people of all ages and abilities, displaying consideration of their rights and sensitivities.
  • Must be able to read and write English, and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance and follow the dress code as outlined in the employee handbook.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Be in good health, and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
