Job Summary:

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a highly skilled Director of Development, Major Gifts, University Priorities to join our team. As a key member of our development staff, you will be responsible for identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major gifts from individuals, foundations, and corporations to support the university's strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive major gifts strategy to achieve fundraising goals
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, faculty, and staff
• Collaborate with colleagues across campus to advance the university's strategic priorities
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including major gifts, planned gifts, and corporate partnerships
• Provide exceptional donor stewardship and recognition

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of three years of experience in major gifts fundraising or a related field
• Proven track record of success in securing major gifts
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
