About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Utilities Engineer to join our team at Consor Engineers. As a Utilities Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our transportation infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement utility conflict matrices to manage project activities and minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to revise transportation improvement plans and optimize utility relocations.
  • Prepare and negotiate agreements between utility companies and client partners.
  • Track and update project charts to ensure utility relocations remain on schedule and all dependent utilities are notified.
  • Develop and maintain utility correspondence logs to ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Minimum four years of construction inspection experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation or ORD software.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
