Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Holiday Companies. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and parking lot.
  • Assist with receiving and verifying vendor deliveries, and controlling merchandise and cash shortages.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager, including attending job-related meetings and training sessions.
Working Conditions

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment with minimal supervision. You will be required to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, and occasionally lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead. You will also be exposed to occasional noise and extreme cold temperatures while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).
