Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Holiday Station Stores. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, courteous, and professional customer service to all customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Sales and Operations: Ring up all sales on the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and other forms of payment. Perform multi-function operations of fuel consoles, lottery machines, and other equipment as needed.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the fueling area, parking lot, and surrounding areas. Perform basic upkeep and cleaning of all equipment and facilities.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining proper inventory levels, including receiving and verifying vendor deliveries, and controlling merchandise and cash shortages.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals, resolve customer issues, and maintain a positive store environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous retail sales experience preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, provide excellent customer service, and operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours, lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds, and push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
Working Conditions

Work will be performed primarily indoors, but may require occasional work outside to clean parking lots, gas pumps, and other areas. Exposure to extreme cold temperatures may occur while performing occasional work in a walk-in cooler and/or freezer.
