About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at City of Hope. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our cancer treatment program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Radiation Therapy Treatments: Accurately deliver and record radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
  • Enter and Maintain Patient Treatment Parameters: Accurately enter and maintain patient treatment parameters into electronic medical records.
  • Participate in Clinical Instruction: Participate in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
  • Assist with Patient Scheduling and Billing: Assist in maintaining patient appointment schedules and submitting correct billing information.
  • Perform Radiation Therapy Procedures: Accurately cut blocks, make custom molds, and complete simple mu calculations.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited Radiation Therapy Program: Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
  • ARRT Certification and State License: ARRT certification required. Must hold a valid state license for radiation therapy.
  • Experience and Qualifications: Radiation Therapist I: 0-3 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT. Radiation Therapist II: 3-5 years of experience actively practicing as an RTT. Senior Radiation Therapist: 5+ years of experience actively practicing as an RTT.
