Position Overview:

The Radiation Therapist plays a crucial role in delivering therapeutic radiation treatments under the guidance of the Department Manager and the Lead Radiation Therapist. This position involves setting up, planning, and ensuring the precision of treatment delivery using advanced radiotherapy techniques, all in alignment with departmental protocols.

Shifts Available:
Full Time Day & Part Time Day Shift

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer therapeutic radiation treatments.
  • Perform procedures to set up and verify treatment accuracy.
  • Utilize modern radiotherapy techniques in accordance with established standards.

Qualifications:

Required:
  • Completion of formal therapeutic radiologic technology training from an accredited institution.
  • National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.

Preferred:
  • Specialized training in diametric techniques and treatment planning physics.
