Service Coordinator Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Coordinator to join our team at Sciens Building Solutions. As a key member of our customer service department, you will be responsible for interacting with customers to ensure satisfaction and a positive company image. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule preventative maintenance inspections and emergency calls using our dispatch board system.
  • Analyze issues and determine the best course of action to handle customer inquiries.
  • Field customer calls, dispatch technicians as needed, and follow through to ensure resolution of all situations.
  • Generate and monitor internal and external correspondence regarding service technicians, including analyzing completed work orders for accuracy.
  • Perform pricing of labor and/or materials according to contract requirements.
  • Prepare subcontract work orders for invoicing, including test reports, deficiencies, and quotes.
  • Track and quote deficiencies.
  • Update and maintain customer information in our databases.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two to five years of experience in customer service.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.
