Research Assistant Professor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Assistant Professor to join our team at the Center for Biomedical and Health Research in Data Science. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to ongoing population-based epidemiologic research projects on cardiovascular, substance use, and mental health research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and guide data analyses to inform research projects
  • Contribute to and lead manuscripts and new research proposals
  • Mentor post-docs and graduate students in research methodologies

Requirements:

  • PhD in Epidemiology or a related field
  • Strong statistical analysis and data programming skills using SAS, SAS/SQL, Stata MP, R
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postdoctoral training in epidemiology or a related field
  • Experience with BIG health data, including health insurance claims and electronic medical records
