Research Software Developer

The successful applicant will conduct analytical and experimental research in the areas of network security, data privacy, and cyber security with an emphasis on blockchain based prototype design and implementation, testing and validation. The candidate will participate in collaboration with partner institutions, and assist the immediate supervisor in writing technical reports, scholarly articles and proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in network security, data privacy, and cyber security with a focus on blockchain technology.
- Design, implement, and test blockchain-based prototypes.
- Collaborate with partner institutions and assist in writing technical reports and scholarly articles.
- Participate in the development of technical proposals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience working with blockchain, smart contracts, and complex applications.
- Proficiency in Linux, git, and Ethereum/Quorum.
- Experience with general-purpose programming languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, and Rust.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with web development, especially front-end GUI and Web3js.
- Familiarity with Linux and cloud computing platforms, and open-source software development.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Matlab, and LaTeX tools.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
