Robert J. Manning Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship

Job Summary:

The Marketing, Entrepreneurship & Innovation (MEI) Department at the Robert J. Manning School of Business, University of Massachusetts Lowell, invites applications for the Robert J. Manning Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship. We seek a tenured full professor or advanced associate professor with a nationally recognized research profile in entrepreneurship.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a high-quality research agenda and mentor Ph.D. students
  • Engage in university entrepreneurial initiatives and collaborate with faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, alumni, and broader community stakeholders
  • Teach three courses per academic year, with at least one at the undergraduate level
Requirements:
  • Tenured Full or Associate Professor with a Ph.D. in a related discipline from an AACSB-accredited school
  • Demonstrated ongoing research with a record of publications in top-tier journals in entrepreneurship
  • Proven teaching effectiveness and commitment to experiential and career-connected learning
  • Active engagement with regional or national entrepreneurship organizations and proficiency in written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in supervising and advising doctoral students
  • Strong commitment to service, both internal and external
  • Involvement in entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem
