Job Summary:

The Technical Services Coordinator is a key member of the Agiliti Health team, responsible for overseeing and coordinating the biomedical and field service technicians assigned to a designated location. This role ensures that medical equipment at the office and customer locations is timely and cost-effectively inspected, repaired, and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the technical services team to ensure efficient and effective equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow technical services revenue and expand services with existing and potential customers.
  • Manage equipment records, requisitions, parts, and supply inventory, and ensure accurate documentation is completed in a timely manner to meet regulatory compliance needs.
  • Provide training and cross-training to technical services technicians, emphasizing continuous improvement and teamwork.
  • Ensure equipment incidents, recalls, upgrades, and modifications are completed in compliance with directives and documented accordingly.
  • Collaborate with key staff members to promote revenue growth, cost containment, and expansion of services.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of business plans to achieve technical services goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in an Applied Science (electronics or biomedical equipment technology preferred) or equivalent military training required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of technical experience.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry, including an understanding of hospital operations, alternate care providers, and medical equipment manufacturers.
  • Medical equipment preventive maintenance, repair, and handling experience.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals and electric/pneumatic schematics.
  • Demonstrated competency to perform operational verification procedures, preventive maintenance, and repair service on various equipment.
  • Proficient in the use of test equipment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Able to lift and/or push 75 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of business information systems and inventory management.
  • Experience with conflict resolution and customer service.
  • Knowledge of International Organization for Standardization (ISO) regulations.
