Job Overview
Big Rock Sports is seeking a skilled Inside Sales Representative to manage key customers in the Northeast Region, specializing in the Shooting Sports industry. This role requires residing in the Northeast area, such as Maine, Vermont, or New York, and having knowledge of Shooting Sports.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for targeting new accounts and retaining existing ones, while developing long-term partnerships. You will work with a team that shares a passion for the outdoors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and problem-solving skills to navigate the Shooting Sports industry effectively.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our customer base and industry climate to provide a customer-centric experience.
  • Prioritize duties to maximize return on time invested for territory development, account management, and customer satisfaction.
  • Guide Big Rock Sports customer relationships to meet company objectives in terms of sales revenue, profitability, and inventory management.
  • Communicate latest industry trends and information to team members, management, and other department teams.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all: company systems, sales programs, and manufacturer product lines to meet personal and company objectives.
  • Travel for sales or training meetings, customer visits, and in-store promotions as required.


Qualifications:
  • College degree or two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong background in B2B sales or account management; industry and product knowledge is preferred.
  • Knowledge of various state shooting laws, including New York, Vermont, and Maine.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives in a fast-paced phone sales environment.
  • Strong knowledge of basic computer operation; proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software suite is preferred.
