Position Overview
The Senior Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving proactive sales efforts through telephone and email communications to enhance profitable sales. Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing and nurturing customer relationships.
- Processing customer quotes and orders efficiently.
- Gaining in-depth product and application knowledge.
- Identifying opportunities for growth within the existing customer base.
Compensation
For this role, the pay range is $27.00 to $32.00, based on qualifications and experience. A commission and bonus plan is also available.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders by providing accurate product pricing and delivery details.
- Support outside sales teams by managing priority transactions.
- Utilize digital tools for marketing and promoting products effectively.
- Identify and pursue new accounts within a designated territory.
- Manage a defined customer base and maintain strong relationships.
- Analyze customer operations to understand their needs and preferences.
- Prepare product quotations and follow up throughout the purchasing process.
- Gather market intelligence regarding competitors and industry trends.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 4 years in customer service, sales, or electrical distribution.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to resolve complex issues effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of products and applications.
- Positive and customer-focused attitude.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
