Role Description:
Canyon's Construction is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and organized Construction Project Coordinator. This role involves assisting the Craftsman in executing high-quality home renovations, remodels, and new construction projects, while also managing administrative tasks as required. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of building codes and safety regulations relevant to residential projects and have a strong desire to develop their skills further. This individual should be a competent tradesperson capable of assisting with various carpentry tasks, including framing and trim work. A collaborative spirit, effective communication, and a proactive approach are essential to thrive in our team-oriented culture. Adaptability and a professional demeanor are key attributes for success in this dynamic environment.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist in high-quality installations under the guidance of the Craftsman, including drywall, framing, flooring, cabinetry, etc.
- Adhere to jobsite safety regulations and operational protocols.
- Support the Craftsman in understanding architectural and structural plans.
- Communicate daily and weekly material and installation requirements to the Craftsman and Project Manager.
- Manage on-site material deliveries, addressing any issues or special circumstances.
- Assist with building inspections as necessary.
- Coordinate with subcontractor teams on-site as needed.
- Ensure that project sites and installations meet quality assurance standards.
- Help the Craftsman navigate project management software and maintain project expectations.
- Embody the core values and quality standards of Canyon's Construction.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in residential or commercial remodels, renovations, and new builds.
- 2-3 years of installation experience.
- 2-3 years of professional framing experience.
- Completion of the ICC National Building Standard C Test is required within 6 months of employment if not completed within the last year.
- Proficiency in various Project Management platforms and Google Workspace is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Effective organizational and time management skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
