Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

At Aerotek, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator will be responsible for directing and coordinating EHS compliance initiatives, developing and implementing effective EHS programs, processes, and procedures, and ensuring health, safety, and environmental risks are eliminated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement EHS programs, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with governmental regulations, reports, and permits.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate health, safety, and environmental risks.
  • Collaborate with local, state, and federal authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on EHS metrics and performance indicators.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in EHS management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong oral and written language proficiency in English.
  • Conversational verbal Spanish language skills.
  • Broad/extensive knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and DOT rules and regulations.
  • Computer proficiency, Microsoft Office.
