About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at KBR. As a key member of our National Security Solutions team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, clients, and subcontractors, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure our programs remain effective and compliant.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, including direct experience in developing and implementing HSE policies and conducting audits.
  • Regulatory knowledge and ability to interpret and apply regulations effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify safety risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with employees, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
  • Nationally recognized certification, such as ASP, CSP, CIH, CEP, or PE.
Clearance

Must possess an active U.S Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required. Willingness to take a polygraph and upgrade clearance as required.

Compensation

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
